In 1994 I
voluntarily gave more information to Chevron regarding the licensed
area south of Douglas Oil field. I informed Chevron that the
particular site would not produce any hydrocarbons and in 2001 they
confirmed that their findings were the same as mine. Due to the
closeness of the Douglas oil field it was thought that the Douglas
oil field would extend further south into the adjoining licensed
area, but it did not. The area concerned is in block 110/18 - the
circles that you see on the map indicate dry wells
